Does GateScan track exact check-in and check-out times?
Yes. GateScan's Live Dashboard records the exact timestamp for both entry (IN) and exit (OUT), giving admins a real-time view of who is currently in the office and detailed attendance logs.
Can we create restricted zones within our office?
Absolutely. You can create unlimited 'Sections' or 'Zones' (e.g., Main Gate, Server Room, Executive Lounge) in the admin dashboard. Employees only get access if their digital ID tier permits entry to that specific section.
Do we need to buy expensive biometric or flap barrier hardware?
No. GateScan runs entirely on smartphones. Your security desk or section admins simply use the GateScan mobile app on any device to scan employee/visitor QR codes. It requires zero upfront hardware investment.
What if an employee loses their phone or doesn't have it?
Admins can manually check an employee IN or OUT directly from the web dashboard. You can also print physical ID cards with their static GateScan QR code as a backup.
